Sebastian Pohlmann serves as the Chief Technology Officer at UP Catalyst, where the focus is on developing Graphite and MWCNTs from CO2 to minimize the environmental impact of battery materials. Previously, at Skeleton Technologies, Sebastian held several key roles including Vice President of Business Development, Vice President of Innovation, and Head of Cell Development, leading efforts in high power energy storage systems and coordinating innovation projects. Before this, Sebastian was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Münster, specializing in novel anode materials for Lithium Ion Batteries. Sebastian earned a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the University of Münster, completing the degree in 2014.
