Rebecca Lyons is an accomplished planning consultant with extensive experience in both local government and private consultancy across Victoria and New Zealand. Currently serving as Director and previously as Associate Director at Urbis since April 2014, Rebecca showcases a strong adaptability and resourcefulness through various planning projects. Prior roles include Senior Consultant and Senior Statutory Planner with the City of Greater Dandenong Council, where responsibilities centered on complex subdivision and development applications. Additional experience includes contract planning with Macedon Ranges Shire Council and resource consent planning at Whangarei District Council, where Rebecca managed a range of planning permits and represented the council at hearings. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Resource and Environmental Planning (Hons) with a focus on Human Geography from Massey University.
