Dr. Shilpy Guptha is a seasoned professional in the fields of environment and sustainability, currently serving as the General Manager at URS Certification Limited since January 2023. Dr. Guptha has extensive experience in managing carbon credit accreditation schemes and ensuring adherence to various carbon offset programs. Previous roles include Deputy Director of Business Development at the Shriram Institute for Industrial Research, Environment & Social Specialist for the National Institute of Urban Affairs, and Assistant Vice President at Darashaw. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from the Physical Research Laboratory and numerous certifications in energy management and sustainable practices. Dr. Guptha has also participated in specialized training programs in renewable energy technologies and carbon certification standards.
