Christian Portaro is an accomplished marketing professional with extensive experience in partnership development across various sports organizations. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Partnerships at USA Pickleball, Christian has previously held key roles including Director of Partnership Marketing for the Cleveland Cavaliers and Corporate Partnerships Director for the Fiesta Bowl. Additional experience includes serving as Corporate Partnerships Sales and Activation Manager at the Fiesta Bowl and as an intern focused on partner services and activation with the Arizona Cardinals Football Club. Christian also led the Economic Impact Study Team at the College Football Playoff. Educationally, Christian earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Marketing from Arizona State University from 2012 to 2016.

The USA Pickleball Association, a non-profit 501(c)(3) was established in 2005 to further the advancement of the sport on a national level. As the official governing body of pickleball in the United States, USA Pickleball promotes the growth of pickleball by maintaining the rules, setting player ratings, advancing the sport through its national network of 1,800+ ambassadors, and sanctioning tournaments.
