Buddhabhushan Salunkhe

Buddhabhushan Salunkhe, Ph.D., is a seasoned researcher with extensive experience in the fields of materials chemistry and product development. Currently serving as a Senior Researcher at USG since April 2023, Buddhabhushan previously worked as a Research and Development Scientist at Rust-Oleum Corporation and as a Graduate Research Assistant at Missouri University of Science and Technology, where a novel hydrogel with exceptional properties was invented and successfully commercialized. Earlier, as a Research Associate at Asian Paints, significant contributions were made in new product development for both the Decorative and Industrial Coatings Divisions, with notable achievements including the development of a cost-effective zinc-rich primer. Buddhabhushan holds a Doctorate in Chemistry with a focus on Polymer Materials from Missouri University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Technology in Surface Engineering and Polymer Technology from the Institute Of Chemical Technology.
