Michelle Mendes

Michelle Mendes is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Director of Global Communications Strategy & Operations at US Pharmacopeia since March 2022. Previously, Michelle held various senior positions at emocha Mobile Health Inc, where responsibilities included overseeing technology-enabled patient services and managing communications and marketing strategies to enhance brand reputation. Prior experience includes serving as Communications Director for the Baltimore City Health Department, where Michelle significantly improved the agency's media presence, and working with The Pew Charitable Trusts on health advocacy communications. Additionally, Michelle's early career involved roles at Ketchum Public Relations, Edelman, and MedStar Health, focusing on media relations and content development. Michelle holds a B.A. in Communication with a Public Relations Track from the University of Maryland.
