Robbie Abel

Head Coach at Utah Warriors Rugby

Robbie Abel currently serves as an Assistant Coach for the Utah Warriors Rugby since November 2021 and has been a Rugby Player for the Auckland Rugby Union since June 2018. Previously, Robbie held professional rugby player positions with the NSW Waratahs from October 2019 to November 2021, and the Melbourne Rebels in 2019. Robbie also played professionally for Brumbies Rugby between June 2015 and November 2018, and the Western Force from November 2013 to September 2015, as well as Northland Rugby Union from June 2013 to August 2014. In addition to rugby, Robbie worked as a Mentor and Consultant with Solids Aboriginal Consultants from April 2016 to January 2018, and co-founded Code Fitness Australia, contributing from August 2015 to May 2017. Robbie's early experience includes serving as a full-time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from July 2010 to August 2012. Educational background includes studies at St. Edmunds College Canberra.

With a collection of the best rugby talent in the Beehive state, The Warriors will be competing in Major League Rugby's inaugural 2018 season. Rugby is the fastest growing sport in America, and local teams have been thriving on the national scene.
