Luc Dehaspe

Luc Dehaspe is a highly experienced bioinformatics professional with a focus on software engineering, having served as a Software Engineer at UZ Leuven's Genomics Core facility since 2011. Dehaspe has played a crucial role in the development of automated and cloud-based bioinformatics pipelines while ensuring compliance with IVDR standards. Prior to this position, Dehaspe held various roles, including R&D Director and Co-founder at PharmaDM, Research Data Analyst and Manager at OncoMethylome Sciences, and Professor of Data Mining at KU Leuven. With a PhD in Computer Science from KU Leuven and a strong background in relational data mining and language technology, Dehaspe has consistently contributed to advancements in data management and analytics in the biomedical field.
