Ian possesses a Master of Science in Safety & Risk Management from Heriot-Watt University and multiple professional certifications, including Graduate Membership and Tech IOSH from IOSH, as well as NEBOSH IGC in HSE. Ian's expertise includes developing and managing safety management systems, enhancing HSE standards, and providing consultation on maritime safety at both national and international levels.
