Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in MBA with a focus on Marketing and Finance from The Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI), and a Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering from Karnataka Regional Engineering College, Surathkal (NITK).
