Paul Ware

Paul Ware is a seasoned geophysicist with extensive experience in exploration and development across various regions, including West Africa, Oman, and Russia. Currently serving as Principal Geophysicist at VAALCO Energy, Inc. since October 2018, Paul also operates Paul Ware Geoscience LLC as Principal Consultant. Previous roles include consulting positions at OXY Worldwide Exploration and Occidental Oil and Gas, where notable achievements include mapping prospects and generating significant oil discoveries in Bahrain and Nigeria. Paul's early career involved crucial work in the Deepwater Gulf of Mexico and the North Sea, with foundational education in Physics and Geophysics from the University of Bath.
