Carita Ollikainen

Carita Ollikainen is an experienced professional in public affairs and corporate relations, currently serving as the Director and Head of Corporate Relations at Valmet since September 2014, focusing on policy advocacy and governmental relations within the EU. Prior to this role, Carita held positions such as Head of Office at Prime PR in Brussels and Communications Adviser at JKL, where responsibilities included leading teams and managing public affairs projects. Experience also includes serving as Permanent Representative to the EU for the Parliament of Finland, as well as advisory roles in European Affairs at Stora Enso and as a Counsellor at the Finnish Forest Industries Federation. Carita's educational background includes a Master’s degree in technology from Teknillinen korkeakoulu and executive programs in strategy and geoeconomics.
