Max Carpenter

Max Carpenter is an experienced dental student at Marquette University since August 2016, pursuing a DDS degree. Simultaneously, Max has worked as a Laboratory Assistant at Valparaiso University since September 2013, focusing on organic and general chemistry, where responsibilities include answering questions, grading lab reports, ensuring lab safety, operating lab equipment, and collaborating with faculty on laboratory enhancements. In the summer of 2015, Max conducted cancer research, examining the overproduction of PKCBII in colon cells and its correlation with colon cancer. Previous work experience includes a position as a Skid Loader at Amway, fostering lessons in hard work and mental toughness, as well as serving as a server at Pizza Hut, emphasizing the importance of customer service. Max holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Valparaiso University and is expected to complete the DDS program at Marquette University in 2020.
