Nikolay Cherevatenko has a diverse work experience in companies such as EPAM Systems, Yandex, EyeFitU, and Valve. Nikolay started their career as a Software Engineer at EPAM Systems in 2012, where they worked until 2014. From 2014 to 2016, they served as a Software Engineer at Yandex. Nikolay then joined EyeFitU in 2016 as a Senior Full Stack Engineer and later became a Team Leader from 2017 to 2018. Currently, Nikolay is working at Valve as the VP of Engineering, a role they have held since 2019.

Nikolay Cherevatenko's education history is as follows: Nikolay obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computing Machines, Systems, and Networks from the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, graduating in 2013. Nikolay then pursued a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Computing Machines and Systems from the same institution, completing it in 2015. Additionally, they are currently working towards a Candidate of Engineering Science degree from the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics.

In terms of additional certifications, Nikolay Cherevatenko successfully completed the following courses: Introduction to Databases from Stanford University in March 2014, M101JS: MongoDB for Node.js Developers from MongoDB in March 2014, and M101J: MongoDB for Java Developers from MongoDB in February 2014.
