Hadi Meshgi

Hadi Meshgi is a seasoned communications and systems engineering professional with extensive experience in leading communication systems architecture and cybersecurity initiatives. Currently serving as the Comms/Systems Engineering Lead at VHB since February 2023, Hadi previously worked at Siemens as the Communications Systems Architect, spearheading the Wayside Communication Network for multiple MTA projects. Hadi's expertise also includes managing cybersecurity programs for the Eglinton LRT Project while serving as Cyber Security Senior Manager at Crosslinx Transit Solutions. Hadi's technical acumen is demonstrated through roles as Technical Lead and Senior Hardware Design Engineer in various projects, alongside significant academic contributions as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Waterloo and Research Assistant at McMaster University, culminating in a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from McMaster University.
