Michelle Patenaude is an experienced librarian with a diverse background in library management and community engagement. Currently serving as Assistant Manager at the Vancouver Public Library since December 2010, Michelle has held various roles including Exhibits and Partnerships Librarian, Programming and Learning Librarian, and multiple acting management positions across different branches. Prior experience includes serving as Librarian and Outreach Coordinator at Uganda Hands for Hope, where Michelle organized community health events and managed vocational training programs. Educational qualifications include a Master of Library and Information Studies from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from Simon Fraser University.
