Emma Ottoy

Emma Ottoy is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Group Legal Counsel at Vandemoortele since October 2021. Prior to this role, Emma worked at Linklaters from September 2014 to October 2021 as a Managing Associate, specializing in technology law with a focus on IT outsourcing, privacy and data protection, and intellectual property. Emma's career also includes positions as a Legal Assistant at Remarkable, and summer internships at Olswang, Allen & Overy, and Ghent University, which provided exposure to various aspects of IP, competition law, and technology transfer. Emma holds a Master's degree in Law from Ghent University, an Advanced Master in Intellectual Property Law from KU Leuven, an LL.M. in Competition law and economics from the Brussels School of Competition, and has completed an exchange program at the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne.
