Distinguished Professor Of Electrical And Computer Engineering at Vanderbilt University

Philippe Fauchet currently serves as a Distinguished Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Dean of the School of Engineering at Vanderbilt University, a position held since July 2012. Under Fauchet's leadership, Vanderbilt completed the Engineering and Science Building in August 2016, aimed at enhancing interdisciplinary research and collaboration. Fauchet co-founded SiMPore in 2007 and previously held the role of Distinguished Professor and Chair at the University of Rochester from July 1990 to June 2012, as well as Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering at Princeton University from 1984 to 1990. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Stanford University (1979-1984) and a Master’s Degree from Brown University School of Engineering (1978-1979).
