Zhongxian Men, PhD, is an experienced data scientist currently serving as Principal Data Scientist at Vanguard since January 2022. Prior to this role, Zhongxian held managerial and leadership positions in data science and quantitative research at Strategic Financial Solutions NY, JPMorgan Chase & Co., and Quicken Loans between 2015 and 2021. Zhongxian also contributed to academia as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Financial Econometrics at the University of Waterloo and participated in NSERC IRDF postdoctoral research from 2013 to 2015. Zhongxian earned a PhD in Statistics, specializing in Financial Econometrics, from the University of Waterloo, where the degree was completed in 2012.
