Thu (Mi) Nguyen has a diverse work experience history. Thu (Mi) started their professional career as an Intern at Agilent Technologies in April 2019, where they worked until October 2019. In September 2015, Thu began working at Whitworth University in various roles. Thu (Mi) worked as a Supplemental Instruction Facilitator from September 2015 to May 2016, a Student Success Coach from March 2015 to May 2016, a Chemistry Lab Teaching Assistant from September to December 2015, and as a Chemistry Tutor from February to December 2015. Thu then pursued their doctoral degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where they worked as a Doctoral Student from August 2016 to December 2022. Currently, Thu holds the position of Scientist at Vanqua Bio, starting in May 2023.
Thu (Mi) Nguyen attended Whitworth University from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained their Bachelor's Degree. Thu (Mi)'smajor was Chemistry with a track in Biochemistry. Thu (Mi) then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) at the University of Illinois Chicago, starting in 2016 and expected to complete in 2022. Thu (Mi)'sfield of study during their Ph.D. is Chemistry.
