Dan Saldanha is a Managing Director on the Fund Analytics and Risk Management team. Working directly with the Global CIO function, he is responsible for supporting portfolio management, risk management and capital efficiency across the platform. Within risk management, he has a particular focus on foreign currency hedging strategy, tail risk and other market risks impacting the Värde platform. He is also responsible for developing fund level financing and liquidity solutions with the firm’s counterparties. Based in Singapore, he joined the firm in 2015.
Prior to joining Värde, Dan worked in market risk at The Swiss Re Group, and in credit and market risk at RBS Group.
Dan received a MEng in Chemical Engineering from University of Cambridge.
