Vesa Haukkavaara currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Varjo since October 2022. Prior to this role, Vesa spent 14 years at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as a Managing Director and Partner, focusing on management consulting for leading global companies, with a tenure in the San Francisco office starting in 2015. Earlier professional experience includes a position as a Researcher at Aalto University School of Science and Technology, where Vesa conducted master's thesis research on solutions selling, and a role as a Trainee in Sales and Channel Management at Nokia. Vesa began a career in software development as a Software Engineer at GE Healthcare. Vesa Haukkavaara holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management, specializing in Strategy and International Business, obtained from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan from 2003 to 2007.
