Maxim Shapiro

Maxim Shapiro is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in IT infrastructure and cloud architecture. Currently serving as a Senior IT Infrastructure and Cloud Architect at Varonis since February 2018, Maxim leads global IT projects focused on storage, backup, and VMWare solutions, with expertise in NETAPP, CISCO UCS, VMWare, and Azure. Prior to this role, Maxim worked at Bezeq International as an IT Infrastructure Engineer and System Specialist in Professional Services, where responsibilities included writing LLD documents and managing virtual environments. Additional experience includes a QA/Storage Engineer position at Axxana and serving as an IT DC Administrator in Unit 8200 of the Israeli Intelligence Corps, overseeing installations and maintenance of complex computer halls. Maxim holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology Management from Ramat Gan Academic College, earned between 2013 and 2017.
