Jacob John

Jacob John is an experienced technology executive currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Vattanac Bank since November 2022. Prior to this role, Jacob was the Head of Information Technology & Digital at MARUHAN Japan Bank Lao from April 2014 to November 2022, where significant projects included mobile banking, paperless digital branches, agency banking, and core banking upgrades. Jacob has also held prominent ICT roles with the UNDP in Laos, managing a portfolio that supported multiple UN agencies, and began their career as an ICT Assistant at UNDP India. Jacob holds an MBA in Information Technology from Amity University and has a background in sociology and science from Indira Gandhi National Open University and Mahatma Gandhi University, respectively.
