Emilia Bora

Emilia Bora is a seasoned professional in analytical development and biopharmaceutical processes, currently serving as the Director of Analytical Development at Vaxart, Inc. since October 2021, after previously holding the position of Associate Director in the same field. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Manager of Vector Core at Kriya Therapeutics, and multiple positions at Audentes Therapeutics, where work focused on process development analytics and CMC analytical development. Early career contributions at Revance Therapeutics involved research on botulinum toxin characterization and stability assessments. With a background in research roles at Theranos, DiaDexus, and Pfizer, Emilia has extensive expertise in assay development, validation, and drug delivery systems, bolstered by a Master of Science in Biochemistry and Biotechnology from Tufts University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Bucharest.
