Jane Shen

Jane Shen is a seasoned bioinformatics professional currently serving as a Bioinformatics Scientist III at Vaxart, Inc. since July 2023. Jane has held significant roles in prominent organizations, including Genentech as a Biomarker Integrator and UCSF as a Bioinformatics Programmer. Prior experience includes working as a Field Bioinformatics Support member at Bionano Genomics, and research roles at the University of Hong Kong and the Center for Addiction and Mental Health, focusing on cancer genetics, database management, and statistical analysis. Jane completed a PhD in Biomathematics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology at the University of Hong Kong and holds an MSc in Evolutionary Biology from McMaster University, along with a BS in Mathematics and Biology from the University of British Columbia.
