Whitney Jones

Whitney Jones is an experienced human resources executive currently serving as Chief People Officer at Vaxcyte since January 2024. Prior to this role, Whitney was a member of Chief, where efforts were focused on empowering women in leadership positions from November 2020 to March 2024. Whitney’s extensive background includes serving as Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer at Sangamo Therapeutics, Inc., Chief People Officer at LendingClub, and Global Head of HR at Novartis Diagnostics. Other significant roles include senior leadership positions at Gap Inc./Old Navy and The Coca-Cola Company, along with entrepreneurial experience as a business owner in the Czech Republic. Whitney holds a BA in History and French from the University of Vermont and a high school diploma from The Madeira School.
