Preet Sethi

Preet Sethi is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Deputy General Counsel at Vedanta Resources Limited since February 2022, where the role involves providing strategic guidance on critical issues and transactions. Prior to this position, Preet led the Legal and Compliance functions at Fortum India and held the role of General Manager - Corporate Legal at Aditya Birla Group, managing high-stakes litigation and M&A transactions. Preet has also worked as Lead Counsel for Essar Power, overseeing litigation and regulatory matters, and as Legal Counsel for GMR Airports Limited, addressing legal issues in airport operations. Earlier experience includes partnering at Kaden Boriss Legal LLP, focusing on M&A and corporate advisory, and serving as a Senior Associate at Kesar Dass B. & Associates. Preet Sethi holds an LLB and a Bachelor of Commerce from Delhi University.
