Katrina Rook is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in process engineering, currently serving as the Process Engineering Manager at Veeco Instruments since October 1997, specializing in the development and demonstration of PVD, IBD, and IBE technologies. Previously, Katrina held positions at Seagate Technology from November 1992 to August 1997, first as an Advanced Development Engineer and then as an Engineer, focusing on process and design development for inductive and MR recording heads, as well as high moment writer materials. Katrina Rook earned a PhD and a Master’s Degree in Physics from Carnegie Mellon University, where studies were completed from 1986 to 1992, and holds a BS in Physics from the University of St Andrews, obtained from 1982 to 1986.
