Emma King

Emma King is an experienced professional in member engagement and strategic communications, currently serving as the General Manager Member Engagement at Velocity Frequent Flyer since December 2021. Prior to this role, Emma had a decade-long tenure at Virgin Australia, where positions included Head of Strategy Development and Planning, Head of Strategic Communications, General Manager Public Affairs, Senior Manager Public Affairs, and Public Affairs Manager. Emma's earlier experience includes roles at Westpac Group as a Media Relations Executive, GRACosway Pty Ltd as an Associate, Seven Network as an Assistant Production Manager, and SAI Global as a Public Affairs Executive. Emma holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communication, with a focus on History and Philosophy, from the University of Sydney, completed in November 2007.
