Suzi Gillespie has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Suzi currently serves as the Head of Research at the British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (BVCA), where they spearhead crucial analysis of trends and issues surrounding venture capital and private equity. Suzi also collaborates with external researchers and industry trade bodies to enhance the BVCA's research offerings. In their previous role as a Research Director at the BVCA, they focused on delivering annual research reports.

Before joining the BVCA, Suzi worked at PwC as a Technology, Media, and Telecoms valuer and Pension Valuations specialist. In this role, they conducted various consulting, regulatory, and economics projects, with a particular expertise in valuations for pensions schemes and companies with pension plans.
