Rafael Abel

Rafael Abel is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in ocean science and technology. As Co-Founder and CEO of Ventus Technologies GmbH since January 2022, Rafael leads innovative projects in the field. Prior to this role, Rafael served as a Development Engineer at TWT GmbH from July 2019 to November 2021 and worked as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at GEOMAR Helmholtz-Zentrum für Ozeanforschung Kiel from May 2013 to December 2018. Educationally, Rafael holds a Ph.D. in Ocean Science with a focus on Ocean Modelling, a Master of Science in Climate Physics, and a Bachelor of Science in the Physics of the Earth System, all obtained from Kiel University between 2007 and 2018.
