Gillian Mensah

Gillian Ogyiri is an accomplished professional with substantial experience in software development, education, and media production. Currently serving as a Software Development Team Lead and Software Developer at Verafin since July 2019, Gillian also works as a Coding Coach at Get Coding, fostering technical skill development in Newfoundland & Labrador. In addition, Gillian operates as a Freelance Photographer and Media Director for Christian Missionary Fellowship International, specializing in live streaming and multimedia production. Gillian developed a curriculum for the Association for New Canadians aimed at helping newcomers learn coding for career opportunities. Past roles include Research Assistant at Memorial University and Adaptive Technology Intern at Empower, The Disability Centre. Gillian holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Memorial University, earned in 2019.
