Kyle Birkenfeld M.s.

Kyle Birkenfeld, M.S., CSP, currently serves as the Director of Safety and Health at Vericast since December 2015, where leadership is provided for safety and health across over 50 locations. Prior experience includes roles such as Safety Director at Caviness Beef Packing, where the safety department was restructured, and Complex Safety and Health Manager at Pilgrim's Pride, managing EHS programs in a unionized setting. With a solid foundation in safety management, including positions at LifeLine Foods, Kerry Ingredients, Cargill, American Foods Group, and Swift and Co., Kyle has consistently focused on compliance, injury reduction, and cultural change related to safety practices. Kyle holds a Master’s and Bachelor's Degree in Safety Management and Safety and Fire Science, respectively, from Columbia Southern University, and an Associate's Degree in EHS Technology from Amarillo College.
