Paul M. Carew has a strong background in finance, particularly in roles related to product control and middle office management. Paul M. started their career at Merrill Lynch in 1993, where they gained extensive experience in financial analysis and control. Paul M. served as Vice President, Controller for Equity Derivatives, overseeing financial activity related to the firm's institutional trading. During this time, they improved the control environment and reviewed the daily balance sheet. Paul M. also constructed and verified daily P&L explanation reports and developed the P&L explain process for the corporate bond trading business. In 2004, Carew became the Director of the Strategic Risk Group within Merrill Lynch's Fixed Income/Institutional Trading Division, managing middle office activities for the Fixed Income Proprietary Trading Group. In 2007, they joined WCG Management L.P. as the Head of Middle Office/Product Control, where they launched and wound down a Global Macro Fixed Income Hedge Fund. Paul M.'sresponsibilities included managing all business management functions, such as trade support, valuations, risk, accounting, operations, and technology. Paul M. also oversaw the daily activities of the middle office group. In 2017, Carew joined Bank of America as a Director, before moving on to MKP Capital Management, L.L.C. in 2018, where they served as a Director. Paul M.'smost recent position is as the Head of Product Control at Verition Fund Management LLC, a role they started in 2022.

Paul M. Carew has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Accounting from The Catholic University of America. Paul M. also completed their high school education at Xavier HS and obtained a High School Diploma.
