Marlon Lohrbach

Marlon Lohrbach is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer and Data Scientist at BARMER, responsible for establishing a self-service platform for data science and analysis in the AWS cloud since February 2024. Previously, at Verivox GmbH from July 2021, Marlon developed various data science projects utilizing classical machine learning and deep learning, with a focus on Natural Language Processing for unstructured data. Earlier experience includes a role as a Data Scientist at Fiverr, where responsibilities spanned the entire data project lifecycle, and a Project Manager/Editor position at WDR, where Marlon led content creation teams and managed market research data. Marlon began the career as a Trainee at WDR and worked as a Working Student at Repucom, supporting statistical analysis and database maintenance. Marlon holds an Erstes Staatsexamen Lehramt degree in Mathematics and German from the University of Cologne.
