Matthew Dean

Matthew Dean is the chief financial officer of Versova Management and Center Fresh Group. In this role, he provides oversight of finance and administrative functions, including accounting, audit, payroll, information technology, human resources, financial planning, budgeting and analysis, insurance and risk management, procurement and grain merchandising and strategy.

Before joining Versova in 2015, Matthew spent his career in investment banking and corporate finance. He previously worked at a boutique investment bank in San Francisco helping small tech companies raise money, buy other companies, and then sell off to larger tech companies. He also worked at Groupon, where he started and grew the FP&A team as the company expanded to more than 40 countries, acquired $7 billion in revenue and went through an IPO. Matthew has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance and marketing from the University of Iowa.
