Lesly Castro

Lesly Castro is a Contract & Tax Administration Specialist at Via Licensing Alliance since June 2023, previously serving as a Legal Operations Intern. Lesly held the position of K-12 Education Fellow with #CaliforniansForAll College Corps from August 2022 to July 2023 and was a Student Director at the Cal Alumni Association | UC Berkeley during the same period. From August 2021 to May 2023, Lesly contributed as an intern for the UC Berkeley Chicanx Latinx Alumni Association and was involved in the Chicanx Latinx Student Development Office as Lead for External Communications and Lead for Internal Community Affairs from July 2020 to May 2023. Additional experience includes an internship at the Federal Public Defender's Office as well as being a Cal-In-Sacramento Fellow and Diversity and Entrepreneurship Fellow at the Institute of Governmental Studies from January to July 2022, and a Legal Intern with Social Justice Collaborative. Lesly completed a Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies with a minor in Public Policy at the University of California, Berkeley, from 2019 to 2023, and graduated from Everett Alvarez High School in 2019.
