Michelle Murray

Michelle Murray currently serves as the Executive Manager of Health Promotion Systems at the Victorian Health Promotion Foundation (VicHealth) since September 2023. Michelle has been a Board Trustee at Te Manu Toroa Trust since June 2019. Previously, Michelle held the position of Tumu Pae Ora (Deputy Chief Executive of Māori and Equity) at ACC New Zealand from April 2021 to September 2023, overseeing the development of ACC's Māori strategy and fostering relationships with Māori organizations. Michelle also served as Chief Executive at Hauraki PHO from July 2019 to April 2021 and held various roles at Eastern Bay Primary Health Alliance and the Bay of Plenty District Health Board, focusing on primary care and Māori health planning. Michelle's academic credentials include a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health from Auckland University of Technology and ongoing governance studies at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
