Erik Magee is a seasoned dental professional with extensive experience in various roles within the dental industry. Since April 1999, Erik has served as a Partner at Camberwell Dental Group, collaborating with Dr Stephen Liew in a multi-surgery clinic. Erik is also a Founding Partner at the Monash University health services dental clinic and holds a position as Alumni Mentor at the University of Melbourne. In addition to these roles, Erik contributes as an ADC Examiner for the Australian Dental Council, a Committee Member of the Finance Risk and Audit Committee at the Australian Dental Association Victorian Branch, and a Consultant for the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. As an institution focused on forensic medicine and related sciences, we serve the community and the courts. Our statutory responsibilities are to provide independent, expert forensic medical and scientific services to the justice system, tissue for transplantation, and to teach and to undertake research. The VIFM provides the justice system with evidence to underpin safe convictions and appropriate acquittals. Our doctors help investigate deaths reported to the Coroner, examine alleged offenders and assess, treat and support victims of crime. The Donor Tissue Bank of Victoria supports patients and their families by providing safe tissues for transplantation and medical research.
