Vigil Neuro
Beril Kiragasi is a Senior Scientist in Discovery Biology at Vigil Neuroscience since January 2023, bringing expertise from previous roles as a Scientist I in Genetic Diseases at Relay Therapeutics from June 2021 to January 2023, and as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Sanofi from December 2018 to June 2021, where focus was on the genetic and molecular mechanisms of synucleinopathies. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Southern California (2012-2018) and a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Boğaziçi University (2007-2012). Extensive research experience includes studying synaptic function and plasticity at the University of Southern California from August 2012 to August 2018.
