Trung Nguyen

Trung Nguyen is an accomplished engineering professional with a robust background in technology leadership and solution architecture. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at VinID since December 2019, Trung previously held the position of Group CTO at Simple Technology Investment (STI) from September 2017 to December 2019. Trung's expertise in application and system architecture was further honed at the Parliamentary Digital Service as an Application and System Architect from February 2015 to August 2017. With a strong foundation in solution architecture from roles at NashTech and Harvey Nash, where consultation, design, and implementation were key responsibilities, Trung also contributed to the telecom sector at Vanco through the architecture of a pricing portal. Trung holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute', earned between 1988 and 1997.
