Debora Lin

Debora Lin is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in process development and upstream manufacturing within the biotechnology sector. As Director of Process Development at Vir Biotechnology, Inc. from November 2020 to March 2024, Debora led late-stage monoclonal antibody (mAb) programs and established new upstream lab facilities. Previously, Debora served as Associate Director of Process Development and Senior Scientist II at the same company, managing process characterization for Sotrovimab and overseeing early-stage mAb initiatives. Prior experience includes serving as Associate Director of Upstream Manufacturing at ADC Therapeutics, where responsibilities involved negotiating agreements with CROs and CDMOs, and as Senior Scientist I at AbbVie, successfully scaling mAb production processes. Debora began a career in the pharmaceutical sector as a Chemical Engineering Intern at Pfizer in 2008. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. and a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University.
