Jalal Khazanehdari

Jalal Khazanehdari is an accomplished Senior Business and Technology Manager at CGG since October 2018, bringing extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Previously, Jalal served as the Global Technical & Business Manager for Inversion Services at WesternGeco, where the focus was on seismic reservoir characterization from exploration to production optimization. During a decade at Schlumberger, Jalal held various managerial roles, including Area Consulting Services Manager for the Middle East and Africa, where a new Consulting HUB in Abu Dhabi was established, as well as Technical Advisor for Exploration & Production Reservoir Center. Additionally, Jalal managed Data & Consulting Services in the Eastern Mediterranean and contributed to the growth of Reservoir Seismic Services in multiple regions. Early career experience includes roles as Rock Physicist and G&G Lead for WesternGeco, providing seismic inversion and rock physics support. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Geophysics & Rock Physics from The University of Manchester and an MSc in Applied Geophysics from the University of Birmingham.
