Arpit Garg

Arpit Garg is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in electronic trading and risk management. Currently serving as Vice President at Virtu Financial since July 2019, Arpit previously held key roles at JPMorgan Chase & Co. as Senior Associate in CIB Equities, where responsibilities included leading a team to design a pioneering Electronic Trading Platform and onboarding over 2,000 global clients. At Citi, as Associate and Team Lead in Enterprise Risk, Arpit directed efforts to remodel a risk calculation IT engine, achieving significant cost savings. Experience also includes a role as Senior Analyst in Fixed Income at Nomura, where Arpit centralized multiple IT systems, improving efficiency and reducing costs. Early career began at Lehman Brothers as an Analyst in Fixed Income. Arpit holds an MBA in Finance from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, a B Tech in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, and has been recognized as a Level III Candidate in the CFA Program.
