Prior to this role, Pierre MENUGE worked as an Ingénieur chargé d'affaires at DRIRE Reunion from 1991 to 1993. Pierre MENUGE holds an engineering degree in Mechanics and Robotics from Mines Douai, completed in 1991, and also has educational experience at the University of Twente.

As the population steadily increases, so does the number of eye diseases and disorders. As a result, the number of available eye care professionals haven't been able to keep up with the population's needs. That, combined with the increasing wait time for appointments, represent a crucial public health issue. We want to provide patients worldwide with better access to eye health resources. We deeply believe that thorough research and understanding of the existing challenges and innovation through multimodal technology, automation, miniaturization and AI will be key to unlocking the potential of eye care professionals to best serve their patients.
