Christian Schneider

Christian Schneider has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Christian started their career in 2006 with an internship in Product Information Management at Geberit. Christian then pursued an internship in Global Function Supply Chain Management at ABB in 2007. In 2008, they worked as a Research Assistant at both Daimler AG and ETH Zürich. At ETH Zürich, they held the position of Postdoctoral Researcher as well. In 2012, Christian worked as Assistant to the Board at globegarden. From 2013 to 2014, they were a Consultant at Helbling Business Advisors. Finally, Christian joined Vitra in 2014, where they held various roles including Head of Internal Projects and CIO.

Christian Schneider has an extensive education history. In 2002, they completed an Assessment Year in Business Administration and Management at the University of St.Gallen. Following this, from 2003 to 2006, Schneider pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering at ETH Zürich.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Schneider returned to ETH Zürich to pursue a Master's Degree in Management, Technology, and Economics from 2006 to 2008. During this time, they also had the opportunity to spend a semester abroad at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 2007.

Schneider's academic pursuits continued at ETH Zürich, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Logistics, Operations, and Supply Chain Management from 2008 to 2012.

In 2020, Schneider furthered their education by attending the Stanford University Graduate School of Business for an Executive Leadership Development program.
