Jared Casey has extensive experience in the defense and security sector, currently serving as the TAK Systems Lead at VK Integrated Systems since January 2021. Prior to this role, Jared acted as a Senior Technology Trainer at BAE Systems for a brief period in early 2020. From 2018 to early 2020, Jared worked as an Operational Advisor for Yorktown Systems Group and previously held significant positions within the 5th Special Forces Group, including Special Forces Operations Manager and Special Forces Team Sergeant (Special Reconnaissance) from 2016 to 2018 and 2013 to 2016, respectively. In the capacity of Team Sergeant, Jared was integral to an operational unit designated as the CENTCOM Crisis Response Force, with specialized skills in sniper operations, technical surveillance, and low-visibility infiltration techniques.

VK Integrated Systems (VKIS) is focused on three areas: Sensor Technology, Weapon Systems and Energetics. VKIS is actively engaged in the research, development and manufacture of inertial sensors and related technology for weapon systems as well as assured precision navigation and timing applications. VKIS Energetics Division is pioneering energetic materials development. Research into safe binary gel mixtures has led to the development of MatrEx Gel, an extremely versatile energetic compound. VKIS Energetics also provides training services to Military and Law Enforcement.
