Chris Christakou

Chris Christakou is a skilled Python Engineer currently working at Vortexa since June 2022. Previously, Chris held roles as a Software Engineer at Essentia Analytics from December 2020 to June 2022, and as a Data Scientist at Liberis from October 2019 to September 2020, where responsibilities included researching and developing machine learning techniques among other advanced data analytics tasks. Chris completed a Data Scientist placement at Auto Service Finance in the summer of 2019 and served as an Information Visualisation Ambassador and Research Assistant focused on Reinforcement Learning at the University of Leeds prior to that. Academia includes a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Bristol and a Master's degree in Data Science and Analytics from the University of Leeds.
