Russell Palmiter

Russell Palmiter is an experienced technology leader serving as Vice President of Engineering at Vorto since March 2024 and VP of Engineering at Validere since December 2021, where analytics and data insights for the energy industry are developed. Previously, Russell held the position of Chief Technology Officer at GroundSwell SPC, overseeing the launch of the company’s first mobile app. As the Founder and CTO of Code Metrics, Russell created a product that aids developers in making informed decisions. Earlier roles include VP of Engineering at Tend.com, where software tools for sustainably grown produce were developed, and Founder of RetailKit, leading a SAAS e-commerce offering to profitability before acquisition. Additional experience includes positions at SwimOutlet.com, Salesforce.com, Adobe Systems Inc, and Intuit, contributing to product development, architecture, and automation. Russell holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Business from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
